Hi Dee, I have been to South Africa twice now, on mission trips. This shot was taken last August, '07 as we were taking food to a family's hut. I really wanted the desperateness to show in the photograph so I could share it back at our church. Thanks for the comment!

The pots picture was cropped and I added the "frame" in photoshop. I think I popped the saturation a little. Its had minimal post processing on it.

What is your favorite subjects? I tend to migrate towards flowers, waterfalls and nature scapes. You would think I would enjoy taking people pics, as much as I love people, but I find it quite intemidating to take 'people pics'. I need to get over it though!
